  For the third tape on CWPT, Palms Trax’s label makes space for the storied collections of Greg Belson. A self-described ‘vinyl archeologist’, club DJ and Los Angeles radio staple, Belson has spent the past twenty-five years amassing a vast archive of obscure, often previously unheard recordings from underground musical scenes across the United States.
  
  ‘Saturday Night/Sunday Morning’ finds Belson applying his musical nous more specifically to his lifelong passion for gospel, mixing two sides of truly transcendent, deeply affecting cuts that speak in turn for the heat of the weekend party and the afterglow of a Sunday morning. An established favourite for both occasions amongst the CWPT crew, we’re delighted to share this very special musical journey across two sides of a single C90.
  
  The design for Greg Belson’s ‘Saturday Night/Sunday Morning’ tape was produced by Berlin-based Lisa Goetze, who works with cutouts of original archival photos from her Grandfather, a Baptist pastor who travelled with his family throughout the USA and Canada, making music with communities along the way.
